Development and construction of a 90,000 square foot indoor vertical farming facility for GoodLeaf Farms located St-Hubert, Québec. The mandate consisted of the integration of all infrastructure and equipment required for its operations, resulting in harvests of more than 2 million pounds of local leafy greens annually. The Espace team was also involved in the construction of a similar-sized facility in Calgary, Alberta. The farm uses innovative technology to harvest microgreens year-round within a complex hydroponic system using 95% less water than a traditional outdoor farm without use of pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.
